API strives for "get it right the first time" production performance. A comprehensive testing strategy conducts incoming component inspections, work-in-progress inspection, and thorough verification and validation for prototypes as well as statistically appropriate level of production sampling. Types of testing include functional, stress, thermal, TEMPEST and EMI. API's formal, scalable assembly processes with fully integrated quality checks from material sourcing to finished goods shipment delivers repeatable, high quality production and product integrity essential for market success.
With over 30,000 square feet of production space at our Columbia, MD and Salem, NH facilities, API has the capacity and flexibility to address a variety of production needs.
API provides formal training courses on the maintenance and repair of API TEMPEST products. For most clients, we offer self directed training materials on line at no charge to provide user training.
Customers attending an API training class learn the proper disassembly and reassembly techniques for a particular product or group of products, reporting requirements, and the techniques to ensure that TEMPEST systems integrity is not compromised as they repair or preventative maintenance functions are preformed. With completion, attendees receive a certificate of completion, an identification code, and access to our support website for technical data, configuration and log management of their devices. Training sessions are available at API offices or customer sites.
The TEMPEST compliance of all equipment manufactured by Advanced Programs, Inc. is guaranteed for the useful life of the product (typically 5 years) when repairs are performed by API staff or technicians or clients who have attended appropriate API training and been certified. Course customization is available for unique solutions and train-the-trainer needs. Please note that international customers may be required to have a technical assistance agreement (TAA) approved before API can provide technical training.
