Mark Figley
President & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Figley is responsible for overall operations and short- and long-term strategies for API. His career includes over 30 years of experience in executive leadership and finance for companies manufacturing secure products for the defense and intelligence communities. Before coming to API, he was VP of Finance for DRS Electronic Systems Inc. in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
Mr. Figley is a member of the Maryland Association of CPAs and has an M.B.A. in Finance from Loyola College and a B.S. in Accounting from the Pennsylvania State University.
Mike Gormley
Chief Revenue Officer
Mr. Gormley is responsible for go-to-market strategies for product and sales, corporate development, and creating new revenue streams. His career includes 25 years of strategic management for technology companies focusing on analytics, information security, test automation, and embedded systems.
Before returning to API, Mr. Gormley created and launched the public sector business units for venture-backed software startups Ayasi and Tamr, Inc. Previously, Mike was API’s SVP of Sales and Marketing. He was also VP of Sales at Computer I/O Corporation, and General Manager of Signal Processing Services, Inc. Gormley started his career as a research engineer, designing anti-submarine warfare systems for the U.S. Navy. He holds an MS in Technology Management from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the Catholic University of America.
